Mission
The misión of the Library and Resource Centre for Learning and Research (CRAI) of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya is to support the study, teaching, research and artistic work carried out at the School.
The Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya offers students and teachers a basic tool for the development of their activities: the Library-CRAI (Resource Centre for Learning and Research), which should allow users to learn, teach, research and train.
The Library contains all kinds of documents (scores, books, specialised magazines, sound and audio-visual recordings in different formats) related to music and related disciplines, as well as online electronic resources, both subscribed and/or open access, for the searching of specialised information and documentation. Computer equipment is also made available to the community in order to access the Internet, as well as the use of musical software (socre editors and sequencers) and office software.
The ESMUC Store is located inside the library, offering folders, bags and T-shirts from the School..
The Library-CRAI of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya is part of the Specialised Libraries of the Generalitat (BEG) and collaborates with the University Union Catalogue of Catalonia (CCUC).
