Interlibrary loan service and document retrieval

The interlibrary loan service aims to exchange and obtain documents between different libraries.

  • Internal users
    Students, teachers, PAS of ESMUC and Library cardholders who wish to borrow documents from other libraries must fill in the following form, indicating their information and the details of the requested document.

  • External users
    Libraries and documentation centres that wish to borrow ESMUC documents for their users must fill out the following form, indicating their information and the details of the requested document.

You can consult the interlibrary loan rates and applicable copy sending fees for both internal and external users.

Furthermore, you will also be able to consult the collective catalogues of those centres with which we have agreements of gratuity in the exchange of documents. These include the catalogue of BEG (Specialized Libraries of the Catalan Government), Atena (Collective Catalogue of the Catalan Libraries, including those of the Barcelona Provincial Council. Current exchange through the VALISA project of the Servei de Biblioteques de Catalunya) and CCUC (University Union Catalogue of Catalonia).
