Preparation for entrance exams
ESMUC has designed various activities that aim to facilitate the completion of entrance exams for individuals interested in pursuing undergraduate studies at our centre.
The School has organised a day of support and guidance for students who are interested in studying one of the specialities of the Music Degree offered by ESMUC next year.
This day consists of working sessions and discussions with the faculty members of the institution.
This course is designed for those individuals interested in studying the degree at ESMUC and who, therefore, plan to take the entrance exams. Its main objective is to provide guidelines and strategies for completing the written exercises of Part A of the entrance exams. The course is available in the four areas/styles in which these exercises are conducted (Classical, Contemporary and Traditional Music, Jazz and Popular Music, Early Music, and Flamenco).
With the aim of providing guidance to future candidates who intend to take the entrance exams for the music degree at the ESMUC, the School offers a simulation of various exercises from both part A and part B.
The exercises are carried out under the same conditions as the actual entrance exams. The resulting score alongside a brief guiding comment on each exercise can be later consulted online.
