Education

He obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Digital Communications at UPF in 2009, with a thesis on automatic classification of musical genres.

His research interests lie in the field of Music Information Retrieval (MIR) and the interaction between music and technology (HCI).

He is a member of the Observatorio de Prevención Auditiva para los músicos (OPAM) and the Barcelona Laptop Orchestra (BLO).

Teaching

He is a researcher at the Research Group in Musical Creation and Performance (2014, SGR 1382) at ESMUC. He is also a professor at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), a consultant at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), and collaborates in various master's and postgraduate programs.
