Fèlix Pastor is a composer born in Madrid in 1974. Music has allowed him to explore various media that interest him, such as architecture, imagery, video art, interactivity, and programming.

He has composed music in a wide variety of styles and for diverse ensembles and situations. Some of the artists he has collaborated with in the United States and Europe include Christophe Roy (Ensemble NOMOS), Dinu Ghezzo, Max Finneran, Martín Loyato, the Pamplemousse Ensemble, Yarn/Wire, ProContemporanea Ensemble, Companion Star, and the Oleg Danovsky Ballet Company.

Currently, he resides in Barcelona with his wife and three daughters, where he composes and teaches at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya.

Career

His diverse interests have allowed him to participate in a wide variety of projects and collaborations related to other disciplines such as architecture, programming, artificial intelligence, visual art, etc.

He is currently intrigued by Schaeffer's statement that the world of music is always opposed to the world of sound. We will see.

Teaching

He has been a professor at ESMUC in the Department of Creation and Theory since 2007. He teaches undergraduate courses and in the master's program of Composition with Technologies.
