Núria Sempere has dedicated her professional career to democratising the access to artistic practice and creating spaces for participation through various leadership roles in the field of music schools.

Education

Doctorate from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master's degree in Public Management from ESADE, a Bachelor's in Art History from the Universitat de Barcelona, and a Guitar Teaching from the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona.

Research

Her research activity has a dual focus: the digital transformation of higher music education institutions and the impact of music education on personal development and community cohesion.

Career

She has served as the director of the Escola Municipal de Música – Centre de les Arts de L’Hospitalet (EMMCA), a professor in the Production and Management Department of the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), and a board member of the Associació Catalana d’Escoles de Música (ACEM), of which she is the founding president.

Currently, she is the General Director of ESMUC and vice-president of ACESEA.
