Soler Jordi

Education

Jordi Soler holds a teaching degree in Music Education (UB, 2003), a Bachelor’s degree in Ethnomusicology (ESMUC, 2007), a Master's degree in Music Education for Music Schools with a specialisation in Instrument Pedagogy (UAB, 2008), and a Postgraduate degree in the design of programmes, environments, and materials using ICT (UOC, 2012). His interests focus on the use of musical technological resources in teaching and the integration of students with educational needs.

Research

· Use of musical technology in teaching and the integration of students with educational needs (since 2007).
· Member of the Interdisciplinary Arts Centers group, within the EMMA Network of the Diputació de Barcelona (since 2017).

Career

Currently, Jordi Soler is the Director and Teacher of new technologies and piano at the Municipal School of Music, Dance, and Theater Classroom of Montornès del Vallès, where he has developed the ICT classroom, introducing technologies in the musical learning of students from the age of 6 onwards, and teaching music technology subjects.

He is the owner of the Eufònic record label and publishing house, with collections of popular and children's music. He also participates in musical ensembles as a pianist and keyboardist.

Teaching

Since 2015, he has been a professor in the Department of Technologies and Music Management at ESMUC.
