Education

She carried out her vocal studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia and simultaneously studied Teaching at the Universitat de València.

She later completed her musical training for three additional years at the advanced studies centre at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, under the direction of Luciano Silvestri and Giulietta Simionato.

Concerts

She began her international career in major theatres such as Lisbon, Hamburg, Genoa, Berlin, Bonn, Marseille, Paris, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and Japan, among others. And of course, she has also performed in all the major Spanish theatres, where she has achieved great success with both the audience and critics, especially at the Gran Teatre de Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Real, and Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid.

Particularly memorable are her performances of Sonnambula, Doña Francisquita, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Tancredi, Rigoletto, Le Nozze di Figaro, La Bohème, Don Pasquale, L’Elisir d’Amore, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Così fan tutte, Il Turco in Italia, etc.

She has also shared the stage with renowned singers such as: Plácido Domingo, Alfredo Kraus, Josep Carreras, Sesto Bruscantini, José Van Dam, Rocwel Black, Ernesto Palacio, Enzo Dara, Lella Cuberli, Joan Pons, Marilyn Horne…

Awards

After winning the international singing competitions "Toti dal Monte" in Italy and "Francesc Viñas" in Barcelona, she made her debut at the end of 1983 in Treviso (Italy) with Il Matrimonio Segreto, and shortly after in Sabadell (Spain) with Lucia di Lamermoor.

Career

Besides opera, she has explored other genres such as recitals, oratorio, and occasionally Zarzuela.

She has been a member of the Valencian Council of Culture and currently serves on the Governing Board of the Comittee for Musical Activities at the Universitat de València.

Teaching

She has given master classes, opera workshops, workshops regarding musical and artistic management for opera campaigns in schools, intensive courses, etc.

Moreover, she is often invited to be part of the jury in international singing competitions.
