He received his training at the Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona and in London, where he studied with the pianist and pedagogue Maria Curcio.

His catalog of compositions is as extensive as it is diverse and includes two operas (Atzar and Alba Eterna), a ballet (Terra Baixa), several musicals such as Mar i Cel and La Vampira del Raval (Max Award for Best Musical Composition in 2006 and 2012, respectively), film soundtracks, theme music for television series like Nissaga de Poder, Laberint d’ombres and El cor de la ciutat, as well as music for various theatrical productions.
