Learning outcomes (general objectives)

1. Apply the knowledge acquired throughout the specialised studies to real and diverse situations of musicological or ethnomusicological research.
2. Experience the specific internal dynamics of the various types of work characteristic of the musicologist or ethnomusicologist, including teamwork.
3. Become immersed in professional practice situations within musicology or ethnomusicology.
4. Demonstrate ability and interest in the learning opportunities that may arise from the situations proposed by the practicum.

Contents

Experience of the professional dynamics inherent to musicology or ethnomusicology in diverse contexts. Completion of various specific tasks. Integration into already established work teams, including interdisciplinary teams. Contextualised and flexible application of musical and musicological or ethnomusicological knowledge, skills, experiences and sensitivities. Preparation of the corresponding report.

Teaching methodology

The teaching-learning methodology involves supervision and tutoring of the practical training carried out in external centres and locations.

Assessment systems

The assessment system for the practicum involves continuous assessment by the tutor, reports from the tutors of the external centres where the placements are carried out, and the submission of a practicum report.
