Learning outcomes (general objectives)

  1. Apply, to real situations that reflect the diversity inherent to the field of production and management, the knowledge acquired throughout the studies of the speciality.
  2. Experience the specific internal dynamics of the different types of work characteristic of the music producer and manager, including teamwork.
  3. Become immersed in professional practice situations within music production and management.
  4. Demonstrate capacity and interest for the learning opportunities that the situations proposed by the practicum provide.

Contents

Experience of the professional dynamics inherent to production and management in diverse contexts. Completion of various specific tasks. Integration into already established work teams, including interdisciplinary teams.

Adaptation and response to the demands of different situations and specific contexts. Contextualised and flexible application of musical and management-related knowledge, skills, experiences and sensibilities.

Practicums are carried out in auditoriums, festivals, management companies, educational centres, community projects, public administrations, record companies and promoters. Preparation of the corresponding report.

Teaching methodology

The teaching-learning methodology involves tutoring of the practical placements carried out in external centres and locations.

Assessment systems

The practicum assessment system involves continuous assessment by the tutor, reports from tutors at the external centres where the placements take place, and the submission of a practicum report.
