Research Group in Music and Health (MuHe)

Music and Health is a newly established interdisciplinary initiative that aims to generate and apply robust scientific evidence on the contributions of music to health and well-being. It is framed within the Knowledge and Quality of Life challenge described in the Catalunya Lidera strategy, the Government Plan of the 15th Legislature and the Draghi Report. The project seeks to achieve a dual impact: on the one hand, to drive the production of original knowledge; and on the other, to effectively contribute to improving citizens’ quality of life through digitalisation and technological innovation.
