I want to do an Erasmus programme abroad
The Erasmus program provides the students enrolled in European universities stay in another European university (from three months to a full academic year) and the subsequent recognition of studies abroad. This recognition of studies will be done following the learning agreement agreed with the Esmuc before leaving.
The Erasmus + program
The Erasmus + Program is part of the Europe 2020 strategy and the Rethinking Education strategy, and encompasses all education, training, youth and sport initiatives.
In education, it includes all levels: school, vocational training, higher education and adult education.
Action 1 of this Erasmus + program includes the mobility of students from Higher Education Institutions in the 28 Member States of the European Union, the countries of the European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and Turkey. the Republic of Macedonia. Switzerland is excluded from the Erasmus + program, so students who apply for it will not be able to receive financial aid from the European Union or MECD grants, but will receive funding directly from the Swiss government (Swiss-European Mobility Program).
The student pays the tuition fee at the home university and enjoys free tuition at the host institution, where he is entitled to the same services that local students receive, on equal terms. The reception center must provide the necessary information on the courses offered, accommodation possibilities and registration procedures.
Carrying out the exchange at the destination university will not imply the right to obtain the degree at that institution.
The SEPIE (Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education) is the body that distributes financial funds from the European Union to grant scholarships to students participating in the Erasmus program, both in their mode of study and in the mode of internships. . Scholarships will be awarded according to the same academic transcript criteria used during the selection process to cover all the funds awarded. Beneficiary students will receive a grant from the Erasmus + program by bank transfer in two installments:
For the month of start and the month of end of stay, which are usually not full months, the day of departure and return will be taken into account and will be paid in proportion to the actual days of stay of those months ( calculating on the basis that one month equals 30 days).
After the stay, they have not provided the required documentation, they will be required to return the amount paid to them.
Erasmus grants from EU funds (SEPIE Scholarship) are incompatible with other grants from the European Community.
If you receive unemployment benefits or other scholarships for exchange stays abroad, please contact the granting body to determine whether or not they are compatible with the Erasmus + scholarship. If it is not, participation in the Erasmus + program will be done without receiving financial support.
To apply for an Erasmus + grant, you must register before February 15, 2021 through EASY DREAM APPLY, a management program shared by most European music higher education institutions.
Each student can only submit up to 3 applications to participate in the program.
