She graduated in Psychology at the University of Barcelona, where she obtained a Master's Degree in Music Therapy and a Postgraduate Degree in Natural and Complementary Therapies.

She has a Postgraduate Degree in Psycho-oncology and is accredited as an expert psychologist in Psycho-oncology and Palliative Care by the Official College of Psychologists.

She completed his PhD in Psychology at the Ramon Llull University - Blanquerna.

In 1994, she began her clinical practice as a music therapist at the Miami Children's Hospital (Florida, USA). Since then she has been involved in different music therapy projects in the health field, working with people with cognitive impairment, chronic pain and cancer.

She has specialized in the application of music therapy in the oncological field, as well as in psychological support aimed at people with cancer and their family and professional carers.

Since 2021 she has been collaborating as a music therapist in the "Musicotherapy and Hematology" Project at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona - Esmuc.
