He studied violin, chamber music, composition, and orchestra conducting in Barcelona and later in The Hague (Netherlands), and at UAB-ESMUC.
His main teachers were Gerard Claret, Vera Beths, Benet Casablancas, Sigiswald Kuijken, and Anner Bijlsma.
He has released albums and scores dedicated to the works of Canales, Telemann, Bach, Jiménez-Manjón, Teixidor, Soler, and other composers.
Since 1991, he has had an intense musical career in various fields: he has been a member of renowned European orchestral groups, regularly performs in duos with Eduard Martínez (harpsichord), Tony Millán, and Carmen Leoni (fortepiano), Fabio Romano (piano), and is the first violin of the Cambini Quartet.
He is frequently invited to collaborate as a concertmaster in orchestras such as the Freitags Akademie in Bern or to advise on productions of baroque or classical operas.
Currently, he is writing his doctoral thesis on violin technique between 1900-1950.
