Vilaró Jordi

Education

He studied at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Badalona, and holds teaching degrees in Advanced Studies in Tible and Saxophone from the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona. He furthered his education with Lluís Bofill.

He attended several conducting courses with Lluís Vila, Antoni Ros Marbà, Salvador Brotons, and, especially, studied for four years with maestro Jordi Mora.

Career

An active performer in the world of Catalan coblas since the age of 14, he has been a member of the coblas groups: La Marinada de Badalona, La Principal de Barcelona, and La Principal del Llobregat from 1991 to the present. Two noteworthy concerts stand out in his career, one at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in 2006, under the baton of maestro Salvador Brotons, and another at the Palau de la Música in 2012, conducted by maestro Antoni Ros Marbà. As a tible player, he has collaborated with Lluís Llach.
