Career

He has worked as an accompanying pianist in the educational field, choir conductor, and has sung in the Madrigal Choir (Manel Cabero), and Coral Sant Jordi (Lluís Vila).

Teaching

He has received grants by the Generalitat de Catalunya for ethnomusicological research in Alt Urgell. He also has been a Musical Language, Harmony, Choir, Piano and Musical Pedagogy teacher in many music schools and conservatories, and has trained teachers, both in music schools and in conservatories, as well as in general education, regarding educational development and innovation in didactics and assessment.

Founder and teacher at the Escola de Música de Oliana, Lleida (1984 to 1986). Teacher and coordinator of the Music Language Department at the Escola d’Arts Musicals Luthier, Barcelona (1994 to 2002). Head of Studies (1996 and 1997) and Pedagogy and Musicology teacher (1990 to 2003) at the Conservatori de Música de Badalona. Designer, Academic Secretary, and implementer of the UAB-ESMUC Master's in Management of Arts Education Centres (2009-2012). Head of the Pedagogy Department (2003 to 2013) at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. Designer, coordinator, and implementer of the Online Master's in Music Education for Musicians (2012 to 2016) at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya.

He has been a professor in the Pedagogy Department since 2001.
