Education

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music with a specialization in Composition and Orchestration, a Bachelor's degree in Music with a specialization in Orchestra Conducting, and a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy from the Conservatori Superior de Música de Barcelona. She also pursued further studies in conducting and singing at the Akademia Frederich Chopin in Warsaw and Krakow.

Career

 

Currently, she is the co-director of the Cantània program at the Auditori de Barcelona and the director of the Cor Infantil Sant Cugat, the Cor Canta, and the female choir Voxalba. For 15 years, she served as the musical director of the project "Ópera en Secundaria" at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. She has also been the artistic and musical director of the Children's Choir of the Orfeó Català at the Palau de la Música Catalana and has conducted the Lieder Càmera choir for four seasons. She has dedicated 30 years to the field of pedagogy. Children's choral singing has been one of the areas in which she has delved deeply, making her a frequent guest to teach courses and workshops all over the world.


Teaching

Since 2018, she has been a professor in the Department of Pedagogy at ESMUC.
