Education

She began studying music at a very young age at Foment Vilanoví. Later, she continued her studies at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, where she obtained her Professional Diploma, and at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. Subsequently, with a scholarship in the USA, she studied contemporary music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she graduated in Professional Music. She has attended numerous jazz seminars in Barcelona and the International Jazz School Seminar in Dublin.


She has studied with Tete Montoliu, Lluís Vidal, Alberto Bover, Iñaki Salvador, Álvaro Is, Fred Hersch, Barry Harris, George Cables, Zé Eduardo, Jean-Pierre Dupuy, Silvia Goes, and others.

Concerts

She has participated in several jazz festivals.

Recordings

She has recorded 13 CDs featuring her own original compositions as well as collaborations.

Awards

She has received various awards granted by the Associació de Músics de Jazz de Catalunya, and by Ràdio 4 and RNE in Catalonia.

Career

 

She has worked on various television programs and theatrical productions in Spain. She combines her professional activities with teaching. Currently, she works as a pianist accompanying the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). She has become a sought-after pianist in the Barcelona music scene and you can find her performing with singer Errol Woiski in different groups like De Diego Brothers, or with her own band, where her creative ability shines through, playing her own compositions under various influences. She has recorded 13 CDs featuring her own original compositions as well as collaborations.
