As a clarinet or basset horn performer, he has been awarded in numerous national and international competitions.

Career

Currently, he freelances with prestigious chamber ensembles, ranging from performances on original 18th-century instruments to contemporary and world music.

He is frequently invited to conduct young musicians' orchestras and to serve as an artistic producer for recordings (such as the recent CD by the OBC dedicated to Joan Guinjoan's concerts and edited by Harmonia Mundi).

He is a composer of numerous works for youth orchestras.

Teaching

He has given master classes at numerous renowned conservatories and specialised centres, including universities such as Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin in the USA.

He is often invited as a teacher in various pedagogy courses for music educators, (Stage by "la Caixa" Foundation, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, etc.).

He is the creator of various educational projects for the "la Caixa" Foundation (music workshops, family concerts, etc.).

He designs pedagogical programmes for numerous entities and institutions, such as the Auditori Nacional de Catalunya.
