Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (UAB).

He has a Master's in Cultural Management (UB).

Career

Since 1989, he has worked in the field of cultural research and consulting. For nearly ten years, he did so at the Centre d’Estudis de Planificació (CEP), and in 1998, he founded ICC, Cultural Consultants.

He was part of the Commissioner’s Office for the Council of Culture and Arts of Catalonia.

He has been a member of the commission on the audiovisual sector within the framework of the Metropolitan Strategic Plan of Barcelona.

He participated in the elaboration of the report La política cultural en España, coordinated by the Real Instituto Elcano commissioned by the Council of Europe / ERICarts.

He collaborates with the Agenda 21 project of UCLG.

He has served as the content director of the Basque Observatory of Culture, with which he has collaborated since its creation.

Teaching

Since 2005, he has been a professor in the Department of Production and Management at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. From 2007 to 2017, he was the head of the department.

He has been an associate professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

He also teaches or has taught in different postgraduate courses, master's programs, and courses at the Universitat de Girona, Universitat de Lleida, Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull i and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, as well as other national and international educational proposals.

He has been the academic coordinator of the Master's in Cultural Management at the University of Barcelona.
