Education

Rosa Urtasun (Pamplona, 1979) studied accordion at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory of Music in Pamplona with Nekane Iturrioz, receiving honorary awards upon the completion of both her Intermediate and Advanced degrees. At the same time, she took classes with accordion performers and pedagogues Friedrich Lips and Jacques Mornet, and was part of various musical ensembles.

She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in History and Music Sciences from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2003. In 2004, she completed a Master's degree in Digital Arts at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, combining these studies with a scholarship position at the Music Technology Group (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), and working on the sound aspect of multimedia projects and interactive installations.

In 2016, she earned her doctorate in Sociology, focusing on discourse analysis.
