Núria Sempere has dedicated her professional career to democratising the access to artistic practice and creating spaces for participation through various leadership roles in the field of music schools.

She holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies from the Universitat de Barcelona, a Master's degree in Public Management from ESADE, a Bachelor's in Art History from the Universitat de Barcelona, and a Guitar Teaching Certificate from the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona.
Her research activity focuses on demonstrating the impacts of music education on personal development and community cohesion. She works towards developing evidence-based local public policies that can be internationally transferred.
She has served as the director of theEscola Municipal de Música – Centre de les Arts de L’Hospitalet (EMMCA), a professor in the Production and Management Department of theEscola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), and a board member of theAssociació Catalana d’Escoles de Música (ACEM), of which she is the founding president.
Currently, she is the General Director of ESMUC.
