
Margarita Natividade studied in Lisbon, Amsterdam, and Brussels.
She performed the roles of Despina, Fiordiligi, Pamina, Susanna, and Zerlina from Mozart's works; Minerva in Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ulisse and Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale.
She has sung Oratorios by Albinoni, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Händel, J.S. Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Fauré, Honneger, Poulenc, Bendimered, among others; and has given recitals of French melodies and Ibero-American authors.
She has recorded the cantata 209 by J.S. Bach, Non sa che sia dolore, motets by Ottavio Durant, Italian arias by Ferran Sor, and the complete vocal and piano works of Granados.
Since very early on in her career she has been involved in teaching at the Brussels Conservatory and, since 2002, at ESMUC; as well as in Paris, Lille, Bruges, London, Lisbon, Catania, and Brussels.
