He studied at the Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona. He was awarded a scholarship from the Generalitat de Catalunya and continued his studies at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien (Austria) with Andrew Ackerman.
As a soloist, he has given recitals in Spain and other countries within the European Community, as well as in Latin America. In 2009, he inaugurated the International Double Bass Festival in tribute to Gary Karr in Bogotá with a recital. He has been invited to conventions and international festivals, such as the International Bass2010 Convention in Berlin, the ISB International San Francisco Convention, among others.
He has performed as a soloist with Spanish and international orchestras, collaborating with distinguished artists and ensembles of both modern and early music, including Le Concert des Nations conducted by Jordi Savall, among others.
He has premiered Salvador Brotons' Concert per Contrabaix i Orquestra de Vents, as well as other works for double bass and piano by Catalan composers.
He is a member of the OBC (Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya).
He has participated in Masterclasses with Gary Karr, among others.
