Orchestra Director (University of Vienna). Philologist (UB - University of Barcelona). Doctor in Musicology (UAB) with a thesis on Gustav Mahler.
He received the Joan Maragall Essay Award in 2009 for the book "La música sacra: nou audicions i un pròleg" (Cruïlla i Fundació Joan Maragall, 2011). (Cruïlla i Fundació Joan Maragall, 2011).
He was the conductor of the Exaudi Nos group until its dissolution, during which he rediscovered sacred music by Catalan-Aragonese composers, especially from the Baroque period. Currently, he focuses on musicological research, particularly in the fields of musical semiotics, sacred music, and late 20th-century Vienna. After a period dedicated exclusively to performance, mainly conducting opera, he combines his work as a performer with teaching at ESMUC, UPF, and the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
