Education

She studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia with Professor Francisco Salanova.
Additionally, she studied with Professor Maurice Bourgue for three years, attending his courses in Spain and France.

From 1993 to 1995, she furthered her oboe studies at the Rotterdams Conservatorium with Professor Emanuel Abbühl, where she obtained the diploma for solo performance.

She also attended improvement courses with professors Stefan Schilli, Salvador Mir, Alex Klein, and Francois Leleux.

Awards

 



  • She received the Outstanding Graduation with Honours Award and the "Mercedes Massi" Award for the best academic record.




  • In the field of chamber music, in 1994, she was selected to represent Spain in the European Broadcasting Union meetup held in Lisbon in 1995.




  • Likewise, in the same year, she won the first prize in the "Montserrat Alabedra" International Chamber Music Competition (Terrassa), as a member of the wind quintet "Haizea".



Career

She was a member of J.O.N.D.E. between 1992-1996, and performed as a soloist with this ensemble at the Auditorio Nacional de Música.

She has collaborated with orchestras such as Valencia Orchestra, Granada Orchestra, Balearic Symphony Orchestra, Murcia Region Orchestra, RTVE Orchestra, Liceu de Barcelona Orchestra, Cadaqués Orchestra, and Barcelona 216.

Teaching

As a teacher, she has conducted improvement courses at the Conservatories of Albarracín, Manresa, Tarragona, Reus, Moncada, and Girona.

She has also served as a teacher with the Joven Orquesta de la Región de Murcia and the Jove Orquestra de Catalunya.

Since 1997, she has been the co-principal oboist of the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, and since 2001, she has been a professor of oboe and chamber music at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
