Education

Since 2012, he has been a jazz trombone professor at Musikene (Superior Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country), and since 2020, he has been a professor at ESMUC.
He has also given masterclasses at the Rotterdam Conservatory (CODARTS), the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, Taller de Músics in Barcelona, Jazz Seminar at Palacio de la Música in Valencia, and the Jazz and Flamenco Seminar in Seville, among others.

He has performed with renowned musicians and/or formations such as: Mingus Big Band, Carla Bley, Steve Swallow, Jane Lee, Mike P. Mossman, Conrad Herwig, Paolo Freshu, Jonathan Kreisberg, Greg Hopkins, Bebo Valdés, Perico Sambeat, Pablo Martín Caminero, Chano Domínguez, Ramón Cardo, Eladio Reinón, Orquestra de Cambra del Teatre Lliure, Lluís Vidal, Joan Albert Amargós, Orquesta Sinfónica de Cordoba, Jordy Rossy, Mario Rossy, Big Band do Hot Clube Lisboa, Luis Perdomo, Giovanni Hidalgo, Eric Vloimans...

Recordings




His debut album "The Journey" was chosen as one of the best albums of 2013 by the American-Canadian magazine LatinJazzNet. In 2017, he released his second album "Converging Roots" with musicians of the caliber of Perico Sambeat, Luis Perdomo, Marc Miralta, or Mimi Jones.

Regarding other musical genres, he has collaborated and/or recorded with artists such as: Alejandro Sanz, Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Niña Pastori, Jorge Drexler, Presuntos Implicados, or Pablo Alborán.


Awards

He received the award from the Associació de Músics de Catalunya in 2003.
