Education

He completed his studies in Valencia, Barcelona, and the United States (Indiana University).

Concerts

He has collaborated with most of the orchestras in Spain, as well as in France and Switzerland.

He has played as bass trombone and double bass in the orchestras of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande a Genéve, and the OBC (Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and National Orchestra of Catalonia), where he currently holds the position of principal bass trombone.

He has performed under the baton of great conductors such as Decker, Foster, Steinberg, Cobos, Kitajenko, Oue, De Billy, Metha, and Maazel, among others.

As a soloist, he has performed in the world premiere of Joan Albert Amargós's Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra (with the OBC and conducted by Gilbert Varga) and Alexander Civilotti's Sonata for Bass Trombone and Piano.

He has given recitals throughout Spain, France, and Switzerland.

Teaching

On an educational level, he has conducted masterclasses and specialized courses in the majority of conservatories in Spain.

Currently, he is a professor of tenor trombone, bass trombone, and double bass, as well as chamber music and specific repertoire at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya).
