Education

He began his piano studies with Concepción Hernández. He completed his undergraduate studies in Barcelona under the guidance of Miquel Farré and pursued postgraduate studies with Edith Fischer.

He received advice from professors such as Josep Colon, Claude Helffer, James Avery, Dimitri Bashkirov, Jorge Pepi, Guillermo González…

Concerts

He has performed as a soloist with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, the Clásica de la Laguna Orchestra, and the Galicia Orchestra, under conductors Víctor Pablo Pérez, Maximino Zumalave, Mark Peters, Paul Opie, and Alejandro Posadas.


From 2001 to 2010, he was the musical director of Mozart's "Petita flauta màgica", a production of the Gran Teatre del Liceu with which he completed more than 300 performances throughout Spain and a tour in Colombia.


He has given concerts in the most prestigious theaters in Spain and Europe, including the Palau de la Música Catalana, Auditori de Barcelona, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real de Madrid, Maestranza de Sevilla, Arriaga de Bilbao, Auditorio de Tenerife, Konzerthaus de Berlin, Liederhalle de Stuttgart, Konzerthaus de Wuppertal, Philarmonie de Essen, Congresshouse de Londres, Tonhalle de Düsseldorf, Kongresshaus de Innsbruck, Auditorio de Zaragoza, Auditorio de Galicia, Santiago, San Sebastián, Valencia, Konzerthaus in Dortmund, Regensburg, Berna, Blonay, Victoria Hall in Geneva…

Recordings

They have numerous recorded albums, both as a solo pianist and as a chamber musician.


  • Recital: includes works by Chopin, Granados Scriabin, Turina, and Liszt.

  • Violin. Jewish and Gypsy sounds with violinist Elina Sitnikava.

  • Vocal: with baritone Augusto Brito. Spanish, Italian, and German repertoire.

Teaching

They have been a repertoire accompanist at the Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona since 1992, and a repertoire accompanist at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya since 2001.
