Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from ESADE and in Philosophy and Education Sciences from the Universitat de Barcelona.

He has served as a manager for several organisations, including the Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallès (1995-98), Fundación Pablo Sarasate in Pamplona (1998-2000), and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León (2000-2001).

From 2001 to 2010, he held the position of general director of the Consorci del Auditori and the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC). In February 2011, he assumed the role of general director of the Palau de la Música Catalana, with the initial mission of restructuring the institution.

As a founder of the Red de Organizadores de Conciertos Educativos (ROCE), he was also the president of the Associació de Professionals de la Gestió Cultural de Catalunya (APGCC) and is a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO).
