
Originally from Cervera, she began studying viola and piano at the local conservatory, encouraged by her paternal grandfather. Later, she moved to Germany to study at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin under the guidance of Walter Küssner and Tabea Zimmermann, to whom she is deeply grateful.
She has been principal violist of Camerata Bern since 2013 and was a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra from 2008 to 2024. These orchestras have had a strong artistic and aesthetic impact on her, shaping a musical identity grounded in active listening, interaction, and respect. She has also held the position of principal violist with the OBC, where she explored the great orchestral repertoire.
Multifaceted musician who works in various fields of performance. Deeply interested in chamber music and the values it entails, pursues an intense teaching career, giving viola and chamber music lessons at ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) and the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg.
Since 2022, she has served as artistic director and teacher at Festival Llavors, an initiative based in Les Borges Blanques that offers concerts and workshops while promoting the legacy of great musicians from our country.
She's a viola teacher and specialist in contemporary techniques.
