Alba Pujals is a trombonist, composer and educator recognized on the international jazz scene. She has performed on prestigious stages such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Palau de la Música Catalana, Amsterdam’s Bimhuis, the Rose Theater at Lincoln Center and Dizzy’s Club in New York, sharing the stage with renowned musicians such as Joshua Redman, Perico Sambeat and C. Tangana.

In 2023 she received the award for Best Emerging Jazz Artist from Enderrock.

After completing her studies at prestigious institutions such as the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Juilliard School, led by Wynton Marsalis, she is currently a full-time jazz trombone professor at ESMuC. She leads several of her own musical projects and collaborates weekly on the program "Músiques Empoderades" on Catalunya Música.
