Orientation course for Entrance Exams

The Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya has designed a course for all those interested in studying the Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the ESMUC and who, therefore, plan to sit the entrance exams.

The main objective of this course, which will take place on Saturday 9 March, is to provide guidelines and strategies for the written exercises in Part A of the entrance exams. That is to say:

  • Melodic Dictation

  • Harmonic Dictation

  • Aural Analysis

  • Sheet Music Analysis

The course aims to provide guidance to aspiring individuals on aspects such as response structure, basic terminology, time management, correction and presentation of exercises, etc., and is is available in the fields/styles in which these exercises are performed: Classical and Contemporary Music, Cobla, Traditional Catalan Music, Jazz and Modern Music, Early Music, and Flamenco.

The sessions will work on real examples.

    60 € – applicants who have registered for the simulation test
