He studied percussion with Professor Xavier Joaquin at the Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona.
Free-lance percussionist, he has been a member of the main contemporary music groups in the country, Vol ad Libitum, BCN 216, Compañía Carles Santos, with whom he has made several recordings and concert tours.
Regular collaborator of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Catalonia, the Symphony Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra.
Member of the group Percussions de Barcelona, the oldest group of this genre in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe, with whom he has recorded a collection of compact discs with works for percussion ensemble by Catalan composers.
He has carried out significant pedagogical work in different centres, as well as in courses and seminars.
Currently, he is a percussion professor at the Conservatory of Manresa and a professor at ESMUC, where he served as Head of the Department of Classical and Contemporary Music - Orchestral Instruments between 2006 and 2017.
