Education

He has a bachelor’s Degree in "Discipline delle Arti, della Musica e dello Spettacolo" from the University of Bologna (Italy). He also holds a diploma in Ethnomusicology from the Universitat de València, and a doctorate in Musicology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Career

He is one of the members of the research group "Les músiques en les societats contemporànies" (www.musc.cat) affiliated with the UAB.

He has worked with various traditional repertoires from the Mediterranean region, as well as contemporary popular electronic music.

His research primarily focuses on the relationships between music and society, both from a historical perspective and cultural dynamics. Additionally, he studies the development of Ethnomusicology with particular attention to epistemological approaches and ethnographic methodologies.
