Education

He holds a degree in Jazz Double Bass Performance from ESMUC.

He has trained under numerous teachers and fellow musicians, including prominent figures such as Horacio Fumero, Mario Rossy, Lluís Vidal, Lluís Verges, Andrew Ackerman, Eladio Reinon, Joan Monné, Francesc Capella, and Uli Glazman, among many others.

Concerts

Active since 1999, he has participated in numerous national and international festivals, accompanying various artists and groups, as well as performing in a vast majority of concert venues throughout the country.

Career

He has been a member of various stable musical formations, including Renaissance Jazz Quintet with Ramon Quadrada, Ismael Dueñas Trio, Xavi Lloses i la Quadratura del Cercle, Girona Jazz Project, The Django Orchestra, among others.

As a freelance musician, he has collaborated with numerous national and international artists such as Jorge Rossy, Perico Sambeat, Eladio Reinon, Joan Monné, Ignasi Terraza, Ronald Baker, Charmin Michelle, Teodross Avery, Michèle Hendricks, Noé Reinhardt, Grant Stewart, and many others.

Outside of jazz, he has accompanied artists like Josep Thió, Marina Rossell, Esther Condal, and Bikimel.

He has also worked with the theatre company Dagoll Dagom, and with director and set designer Lluís Danés.

Teaching

Since 2014, he has been an accompanist for the Jazz Trio at ESMUC, and has been a double bass and combo teacher at EMCCA in L'Hospitalet since 2018.

He has also taught at municipal schools in Banyoles, Besalú, and Cambrils.
