Each member contributes, from their own academic experience, with conceptual and methodological tools to investigate the intersections between music, embodiment, live performance and identities. Some of MuPiC&#8217;s main objectives are: to produce high-quality knowledge about music, performance and embodiment through ethnographic and practical artistic research, employing mixed methods of data collection and taking into account human diversity in all its dimensions; critically examine the relationship between the body, music and sexuality in different musical performance formats and
