Catalan course and linguistic resources for students
Catalan is main teaching Language at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. In order to be able to follow all the classes correctly, we want to advance resources for students who do not know the language to make their integration easier.
Catalan course for new students (basic training)
The ESMUC organizes a free Catalan course aimed at students who are starting their bachelor’s degree, master’s or an Erasmus mobility period and want to enjoy a basic training. The course is held every year from September to December.
Mandatory purchase book: A punt 1. Curs de Català. Llibre de l’alumne. It can be bought from the same publisher: Publicacions de l’Abadia de Montserrat (C/ Ausiàs March, 92-98, Barcelona).

Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística
It is a public institution that promotes the use of the Catalan language. It offers free Catalan courses both for beginners and for speakers with a basic or intermediate level.
