Promotion and management
The Department of Production and Management manages the specific subjects of promotion and management and the teachers that give them, and organises extracurricular activities in this area.
The Department has qualified teachers, diversified with respect to tendencies, techniques, methods and focuses in the world of musical production and management. Thanks to the diversity of this teaching staff, students can choose the work lines best suited to their preferences.
The Production and Management studies in the Graduate School of Music of Catalonia include the introduction of students to the present needs and methods for the public expression of music. Musical production must always have organisational support that guarantees its performance with the utmost quality, and the circumstances and elements that condition it are ever more complex and cover both musical and management aspects. The musical criterion and study of the authors and the works is combined with knowledge of the bases of efficient economic management and mastery of the techniques of human resource planning and management.
The Department of Production and Management, through its teachers and the subjects and activities it organises, attempts to create an ideal framework for the training and professional development of all students of the School, as well as of the disciplines of musical production and management in Catalonia.
