Tutoring Action Plan

When the student arrives at the Esmuc, an advisor is assigned from the coordination of each master program. In the case of the masters in performance, the advisor is usually the teacher of the main instrument. In other cases, the coordinator of the master's degree is the person who will advise the students of the master's degree in question.

During the first week in the school, the students of the different master programs have an initial meeting with the advisor to close the calendar of individual instrument classes and the subject Joint Interpretive Practice with the teacher, and choose the Optional subjects according to the profile and future professional interest of each student.

Student and advisor meet periodically to monitor the student's academic progress as well as profiling the theme of the Final Thesis and the repertoire of the final concert, in the case of the artistic master's degrees in performance.
