Surcharges and returns
All outstanding payments due for enrollment of previous or simultaneous academic courses, whether official or unofficial, must be settled prior to registration or issuance of degrees or certificates.
Failure to pay the enrollment fee or any of its parts within the deadlines established by the Esmuc will lead to the temporary suspension of the student’s rights, including access to all the services of the Esmuc and, where appropriate, the annulment of the registration and the effects that it has produced, without right to refund.
A surcharge of €40 will be applied to the amount of unpaid receipts (€20 for return and €20 for management expenses).
Amounts already paid will be returned in the following cases:
- Where the academic service that has been paid for is not provided, for reasons not attributable to the students.
- Where excess payments have been made, due to material or de facto errors, as well as due to arithmetical errors in the settlement.
- When, after payment, the student justifies that his or her administrative situation merits a bonus or exemption from payment.
All returns will be made on 06/30/2021.
Discounts
Graduates who have graduated with honours in a fourth year subject of the Higher Degree in the academic year prior to the current master's degree or post-degree enrollment will get a discount of the amount of the number of credits equivalent to that obtained. This discount applies to credits enrolled for the first time and to enrollment for the next academic year. Exceptionally, in the event that not enough credits can be enrolled for the first time, the bonus may be applied for a second or subsequent enrollment.
People who have obtained honorary enrollment in a master's or postgraduate subject will receive a discount for the amount of credits equivalent to that obtained for this qualification, in the credits enrolled for the first time for a second master's degree or postgraduate degree. Exceptionally, in the event that not enough credits can be enrolled for the first time, the discount may be applied for a second or subsequent enrollment.
