José Miguel Vizcaya is the Professor of cante flamenco. Singer born in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz), has established a career. As a singer of atrás he has worked for  great flamenco tablaos of Barcelona Tarantos, El cordobés, el  Carmen. He  shared the stage with artists like Cristina Hoyos, Sara Baras, La Chana, Belen  Maya and Angelita Vargas. As a solo singer has shared the stage with artists such as Fosforito, José Mercé, el Pele, Juanito Valderrama, Maite Martin, Miguel Poveda, Enrique Morente, Estrella Morente, José Meneses, Agujetas, among others. Member of the Theatre Company  of Calixto Bieito in the production of the Edinburgh International Festival.
As a composer emphasize his  record Al compás del corazón and in  works of other artists as Duquende. He has done collaborations with Albert Pla, Pi de la Serra, Chicuelo and Adrián Galia to  audiovisual encyclopedia Paso a Paso: los Palos del Flamenco. He has done tours in Europe, Asia and America.
As a teacher holds workshops and conferences alone and in company with outstanding flamencologists as José Luis Ortiz Nuevo, Angel Alvarez Caballero, Agustín Gómez and Manuel Rios Ruiz. He combines his teaching ESMUC with his own concerts.
