Marc Heilbron

Heilbron, Marc

Bachelor in History of Art by the Universitat of Barcelona and PhD by the Università degli Studi di Bologna, with a grant from the Real Colegio de España in Bologna. He was founder and editor of the magazine Opera Actual

He has worked in the Gran Teatre del Liceu and has been contracted as researcher at the Department of Musicology of the CSIC (2000-2004). He has participated in projects of national and international research including European Life in Europe 1600-1900 of the European Science Foundation. He has published research papers on topics of musical dramaturgy and history of musical performance. He is co-author of Historia de l'Opera and Discoteca ideal de la ópera and editor of Colección de cuarenta ejercicios o estudios progresivos de vocalización by Mariano Rodríguez de Ledesma.
