Mondomusica is the most effective global marketplace for contemporary violin-making and the place where the artistic and musical culture finds the perfect stage to express itself.

In line with a constant evolution of the topics of the events programme and as a common thread with last years’ exhibitions, this yearCremonaFiere presents the Music States General 2.0 – from the sound of classical instruments to digital ones and back. The event will be focused on the evolution of the music field, from digital music to most innovative teaching methods.

Digital music increases the professional offer in terms of new job possibilities and new teaching methods. That is why, the events programme is structured into different sessions that will deal with the most recent and significant international experiences of the Music 2.0.

This is also possible through the partnerships constantly developed by CremonaFiere: hundreds of associations, institutions, conservatoires, music schools, artists, musicians and very important representatives of the music field involved every year by the organization and international musicians who provide to Cremona all their support through high level cultural, artistic and scientific events.

The events programme of Mondomusica and Cremona Pianoforte – The Piano Experience is enriched by the presence of many important figures, not only performers but also speakers: Stuart Isacoff, music critic for the Wall Street Journal, Timothy Walker, artistic director of the London Philarmonic Orchestra and the representatives of EFA (European Festival Association). Musical performances play always an important role, among the events there are the duo Maria Azova and Adi Bar; the meeting/performance with Enrico Intra and Massimiliano Motterle and the recital by Tatiana Larionova and Davide Cabassi.

Guitar lovers will enjoy another important novelty: the Acoustic Guitar Village, an area entirely dedicated to the guitar with exhibitors and events.
